The #1 "Would Be" Internet Marketer Killer! Copyright 2005 David Isaacs & Aaron

Today we're going to cover something that is a very
important and extremely valuable to anyone who wants to
build an online business.
We want to share with you something we discovered sometime
ago and have been using ever since to generate an income
from the internet. We only wish someone had shared this
with us when we first started out!
A few years ago when we first decided to start our own
business we were full of enthusiasm and energy. Naturally
all we could think of was how much we were going to make
and what we were going to do with it.
For the first few months all we did was try to absorb as
much information as I could so I could create a solid
platform for my business. We didn't want to rush into
something without first knowing that everything would be
just right.
Once we were confident that everything was ready, we took
the plunge and set up our business. For the next few months
we continued to work long hours with little sleep in the
knowledge that someday it would all be worth it.
After many months of hard slog it finally hit us that life
on the net was not as easy as we'd first thought. While we
were putting in the "hard yards" we weren't even getting
close to the rewards we had expected.
But this didn't deter us. It just motivated us even
further and we were more determined than ever to succeed.
So we just decided to create more sites, working even
harder and hoping that one day we would find the right
answers to the marketing puzzle.
After about 2 years of doing this with very little return,
we came to the conclusion that something was drastically
wrong. So we sat back and did a complete analysis of
exactly what we had done over the previous 2 years.
What we discovered shocked us. To put it bluntly, we just
couldn't believe that we had been so dumb. Once we
identified our problem and implemented a few simple
changes, the results were stunning.
Not only were we now make money, we also noticed a huge
difference in the amount of extra time we had. Suddenly we
had hours of spare time that we could happily spend with
our families or completing other projects to generate even
more profits.
So what was this simply step that made so much difference
to our business?
This one simple thing is a major source of confusion and
frustration for 95% of "would be" online business owners.
This one thing in most cases is the difference between
winning or losing the marketing game.
The #1 killer for new internet business owners is...
...having your finger in too many pies at once!
Let us explain...
You open your email program and there is a screen full of
emails waiting for you to open and check out. You then
spend at least 30 minutes going through them to see if
there's anything of interest.
While you're doing this, you see a product that you've
just *gotta* have. Maybe it identifies a problem you've
encountered and having it will ease all your confusion and
frustration by filling a void in your business.
Maybe this is just the thing you've been waiting for that
will allow you to finally leap that last hurdle in your
path to success and maybe, just maybe, you'll finally be
able to reach your goals.
The trouble is this very rarely happens.
In fact most times buying more products only adds to the
confusion and frustration of new marketers. It's just one
more strategy you have to implement on top of the other 5
or 6 projects you already on the go.
But you tirelessly soldier on, because you feel that the
more strings you have to your bow, the better your business
is going to be in the long run.
However you quickly find that you simply don't the time to
do everything, so you jump from one half-baked scheme or
idea to another trying to see which is best, without ever
seriously implementing any of them.
The end result is more frustration, more confusion... and
a thinner wallet.
Don't get us wrong.
Creating multiple streams of income is a major component
to online success. And regardless of what niche you
promote, there are some products or services that you
simply MUST have if you are to create a solid long-term
income.
But unless you have a "battle plan" that you follow
religiously, blindly buying new products willy-nilly will
in fact have a negative impact on your business.
If this sounds like you, then don't fret because you're
not alone.
This is the primary reason why most businesses never
really get off the ground. But if you're prepared to alter
(or develop) your "battle plan" we're going to show you how
you can turn your fortunes around and get back on track
virtually overnight.
To be truly successful in any business you need to create
a business plan that focuses on one project at a time.
Don't try to have 5 or 6 projects going at once. Doing this
will lead to endless frustration, time wasting and little,
if any, return!
Rather than buying all the latest and greatest products
and then tying to implement them all at once into your
business, you should focus on developing a plan that
concentrates on completing *one* project at a time.
If you have more than one project on the go, we want you
to sit down NOW and prioritize which one is the most
important. Once you've done this, put all the other
projects in the bottom drawer.
Whether your project is creating a niche content site, a
resale rights package, or a new software product is not
important. You just need to make a decision and then do
what needs to be done to give it a chance to work.
Now listen up, this is very important...
=> DO NOT under ANY circumstance be tempted to start
another project before you finish the first one!
=> DO NOT under ANY circumstance buy another product
unless it is absolutely imperative you have it to
complete your first project!
=> DO NOT under ANY circumstance let anything distract you
from completing your goals!
Identify the steps needed to achieve your goal, and where
you can, complete each step before going on to the next. If
you have an outcome you need to achieve before you go to
the next step, then dedicate 100% of the time you have
allocated to your business to focus on completing this step.
It is extremely important that you don't get sidetracked
on other matters like surfing the net or spending excessive
time on minor tasks.
Let's face it, you only have so many hours in a day that
you can work on your business, so you have to utilize this
time to your maximum advantage. So if you find that you
simply haven't got time to do all the steps, leverage your
time by finding someone who can do it for you.
For example...
=> If you want to create a website to promote a niche you
have identified as having huge potential, outsource
the design of the site to an expert in this field or
find a template that suits your needs!
=> If you haven't got the time or knowledge to write
unique content that focuses on your keyword phrases
for your website, then hire someone who has!
=> If you want to create reports or an autoresponder
sequence to give to your website visitors, then hire
a freelance writer to do it for you!
Go to sites such as elance.com or rentacoder.com and hire
someone to write articles and content, or to design your
websites for you. On sites such as these you can normally
hire people who will do this type of work for you at
ridiculously low prices.
Why would you spend days of your valuable time creating
articles and designing a website when you could pay someone
$100 to do this work for you?
Wouldn't it be more economical to use the time you saved
to concentrate on marketing your business! This is where
the BIG money is... not creating websites or writing
content or designing graphics or programming etc.
If you're not spending a majority of your time promoting
your business, then you are missing out on enormous amounts
of profits. If you don't know how to market your
business... then you need to learn! (We'll talk more on
this in a later article)
Do you now see that your time is a much too valuable
commodity to be worried about minor steps? In terms of the
cost of your time, you can hire someone else to do these
for you at a fraction of the price.
You should only ever use your time to do things that
will produce positive results. Don't waste your time on
trivial matters that have minimal impact on your business.
Anything else that has to be done can either outsourced to
someone else or is not important and doesn't need to be
done at all!
As an internet marketer you need to be absolutely ruthless
with your time. Only then will you be able to reap the
rewards that are on offer to those who are prepared to take
action!
