A question that I get asked often is...

"I'd like to write some articles, a report and maybe an
autoresponder series that I can place on my website to
follow-up with my visitors and help convert more sales. Can
you show me the best way to do this?"

Whether you're creating ezine articles, writing an ebook
or crafting sales copy, learning how to write (copy writing
in particular) is one of the most important and prof'itable
skills you will EVER learn as an online marketer.

Do not underestimate the effect that learning how to write
can have on your busi'ness. This one skill alone can (and
will) have a major impact on your success.

So my first word of advice is... if you haven't yet taken
steps to begin learning how to craft compelling sales or ad
copy, I suggest you do whatever it takes to get started
today.

If you haven't yet gained this skill, as an alternative
option you can outsource this part of the process to
an expert. Yes there is a cost in doing this, but what you
gain from improved conversion rates will far outweigh the
price you'll pay to have the job done well for you. More on
this shortly.

Now as far as writing articles, email messages or an
autoresponder series, you basically have 2 choices...

1. Write it yourself, or
2. Outsource your work by hiring someone else to do it for
you.

Which option you choose will depend on how much time you
have and/or whether your budget will allow you to do this.

If you've got plenty of spare time and you're willing to
learn how write the articles or lessons yourself, I
suggest you sign up to some of the guru's newsletters and
study their emails/articles to see how they communicate and
soft-sell their subscribers. Study their style to get a
good feel on how to write your own material.

Just remember that all their material is protected by
copyright, so don't copy their "stuff" word for word. Use
their ideas as a base to inspire your own imagination and
create your OWN messages.

Some great marketers I have learned from and inspired me
include Ewen Chia, Dave Vallieres, Mike Filsaime and John
Reese.

Alternatively, you can grab yourself a copy of Yanik
Silver's "Autoresponder Magic". It has some tested and
proven series of email messages you can study and model to
create your own autoresponder series.

Simply do a search on your favourite search engine and
you'll have no problems in finding a copy you can
downloa'd.

Now remember the second choice you had... "outsourcing".

If you don't have the time to write your own articles,
autoresponder series or content for your webpages, hiring
someone else is without doubt the best option. And if you
think you can't afford it, think again.

You would be a'mazed at how cheaply you can get someone
else to write material for you.

Simply go to sites such as elance.com or rentacoder.com
and you'll be pleasantly surprised to learn that you can
get a 500 word article written about virtually any topic
for under $10. In most cases you can get them done for just
5 bucks an article.

If you decided you want a 7 part autoresponder series that
focuses on a niche market, then you could hire someone to
do all the research and write it for you for under $40. In
the meantime you could be concentrating on more important
issues... such as growing your busi'ness.

In fact just recently a good friend of mine got a 3,000
word report done for $40. He then created a niche website
using the information contained in the report as content.
(His niche is very competitive so he's asked me not to
include the URL of his site)

After including highly relevant and discretely placed
affiliate products, and Google Adsense blocks, he uploaded
it to his server and whamo... he now has an in'come
generating site that cost him $40 to build from scratch.

Now imagine if you duplicated this process 10 times. You'd
have 10 highly targeted niche websites generating an in'come
on autopilot... with very little work on your part. That's
the power of the internet!

Running and growing a successful online busi'ness is all
about prioritizing. If you have time to do things yourself,
then do them.

If you don't, then hire someone else to do it for you.
Your time is too valuable to worry about minor things, so
you should only ever spend time doing things that directly
make you mon'ey, such as marketing your products/services
and building relationships with your list or customers.

Anything else can be outsourced!
