Sean Mize has done a great job in laying out the step to a successful product launch. If you follow these steps you will be amazed at the results.

 

7 Steps to a Profitable Product Launch

1) Find out what your client base needs. Email your subscriber list and ask them what they want to learn more about. Write them back and tell them you are working on a brand new product that is going to meet their needs. I did this recently, and approximately 4% of my subscribers purchased my new product, the List Building Manifesto.

2) Create what your client base needs. This is probably the hardest part - simply sitting down and creating. The product needs to be complete, and do everything your sales letter says it is going to do. Do not cheat on product creation - it will only hurt you in the long run. I have repeat customers who buy everything I produce. Why? Because they know that I deliver value, that I deliver what I say I am delivering.

3) Send out pre-launch emails. Tell your subscribers to keep their eyes open for your new product.

4) Send out joint venture invitations to other internet marketers who have subscriber lists that have similar demographics to your own list.

5) Test all your product, merchant services, thank you page, and download links. Ask your subscribers to look at your pages and offer you suggestions. Take their suggestions. Thank them.

6) Design a killer sales page. Learn to write good copy. The best product with a bad sales page will flop, guaranteed.

7) Release! Send out an email to everyone on your list, letting them know the product is live. Send the email out again the next day. Collect your profits.
