“I’ve heard and read many times that owning your own product is the key to making huge money online. But how do you know what product to create? How do you know if it will sell?”

Does this sound like something you’ve often thought about?

Well here’s the answer that may well shock you…

“Ask your potential customers.”

It’s that simple!

If you have a list, send out a questionnare or a survey to find out what it is they find most difficult about a certain topic. Then compile the results and create a product that fixes their biggest problem.

If you don’t yet have a list, think of the problems you are facing and then create a product based on this. The chances are that others have the same problem.

This answer is so simple that most people overlook it because it’s seems just too easy. They believe that it can’t possibly be this simple, so they dismiss it and continue looking for a more complicated answer.

Bad move!

Regardless of what you believe, internet marketing is a very simple process. It’s only when you try to read into it things that are there does it become complicated.

So keep it simple by creating a survey and find out what it is the market wants… and then give it to them. All you need is a very simple one-page survey and a method to obtain and compile the responses.

Once it is clear what the biggest problem your potential customers face, start creating your product.

If you can’t or don’t want to write or create your own content, you have 2 options…

1. Go to any of the service auction sites, such as elance.com or rentacoder.com etc, and then hire someone else to do the research and write or create your product for you.

2. Find products with rebranding and editing rights targeted to your niche and then use this content to compile your own product.

Either way, you can virtually become an instant author overnight, without the headaches or sleepness nights. So there really is no excuse as to why you can’t start generating an online income.

In the end, you’re really only limited to your own imagination… and you own self-belief. If you’re motivated and you’re willing to take action… you WILL find a way to succeed!
