It’s a basic law of online marketing - if you have a blog it needs to be regularly updated to maintain a high level of readership. If you don’t provide informative content on a regular basis, you simply won’t get any return visitors - and no visitors equals no profits!
So it’s no secret that you need to continually find fresh topics to write about, and in this article we’re going to discuss how to do just that.
The very first option that you should write about is a topic that you feel passionate and interested in. Remember, you’ve chosen to create a blog or website so that you can earn an online income so you have an opportunity to escape your mundane job…
…so forcing yourself to write about something that you have little or no interest in could be as torturous as your mundane job. So the key is to create a blog about a niche topic you either have some experience with or have some level of interest.
The other reason you need to write about something you’re passionate about is because your feelings and emotion shows through your writings. If you feel indifferent to a certain subject but still write about it just for the sake of it, your readers will notice…
… and forcing yourself to write about a subject will not establish a welcoming style to your readers!
Once you have chosen your main theme, start posting to your blog and make it a habit to post at least once every day, even if it’s only a comment on the newspaper article you read today.
Think of yourself as a gigantic train. It takes a lot of effort to get you moving. First, you might just budge an inch, and later trudge slowly on until you finally reach your full speed. Then, once you get going, it’s almost impossible to stop.
However, no matter how well you know your topic, your brain is bound to get exhausted over some time, so here are some proven methods to help you brainstorm content for your blog:
1. The very best way to brainstorm is to see what other bloggers have to say about stuff happening in your niche - and the best way to find related blogs is to search http://blogsearch.google.com/ or www.technorati.com
When you research other blogs you can gather more knowledge and information on your subject. You can then make reference and comment on what others have to say on your own blog!
2. Once you’ve established contacts with other bloggers in your field, you’ll have quite a continuous “conversation” happening on your blog, so you’ll not need to actively search for more content to write about.
A great place to find additional information is to search for news articles related to your niche in the local newspaper or via any of the many online article directories.
3. You can also have contact with people with the same interest as you in your particular niche you choose, so you will eventually build up a bank of questions and answers and interesting discussions to write about in your blog.
To do this, join forums related to your niche, but don’t join every forum there is out there. Stick with one or two of the most focused and most popular in your niche. This will also come in handy much later in gaining traffic and generating profits.
Above all, you must keep up your momentum of posting at least once per day (or more if you have a lot of content to write about) to entice your readers to keep coming back each day to see what is new.
Doing this will also attract the attention of the search engines as they will recognize that you are updating your blog with fresh content everyday - and they just LOVE this.
So the added bonus is that your blog will get spidered on a more frequent basis and when this happens you have a higher chance of getting extra traffic from the search engine listings.

Clever Internet marketers have long used a variety of ways to usher targeted traffic to their web pages. Pay-per-click campaigns, email marketing, search engine optimization, and ezine advertising.
However, there is a simple, effective method that many marketers have missed. And that is submitting brief, 400 or 400+ word articles, so that they appear all over the Internet.
What are the advantages of niche articles?
1. They link readers back to your website.
The time and effort you spend on these mini-articles is a wise investment. Every article you submit contains a link back to your website. Every link helps your website gain link popularity, one of the factors in your search engine ranking.
If your article’s content matches the content of the web page you have linked it to, the search engines will regard this as a relevant link. Relevant links to your website are valued even higher by the search engines.
The higher your site is ranked, the more traffic you will get.
2. People are always in need of information.
It helps to keep in mind that people who use the search engines are looking for information. If they happen upon one of your articles and find it interesting and useful, they will likely click on the link to your website to continue their research.
The more places your articles appear, the more people will find and read them and the more traffic that will be channeled to your website.
How do you create one of these articles?
Your article should be around 400-800 words long and contain just enough information to: offer the reader some useful facts; motivate the reader to click on the link to your website for more information; and attract the attention of an ezine editor who may republish your article.
A good article should contain 1 or 2 tips extracted from an information product you are selling on your website. You could also use paraphrased information from a web page you want the reader to visit. Also effective is a review of a product you would like the reader to purchase. The review would contain a link pointing to your affiliate page through a link tracker or to a page on your own website where you offer more details.
What can you do if you do not have time to create the articles yourself?
Pay a ghostwriter to write them for you. Simply visit websites where you can post a description of the articles you want written and writers will contact you.
Once your articles are done, you may want to submit it to as many places as possible.
Article Directories. They will run a quick content check and then publish your article. Once posted to one of these directories, it will likely be republished all over the Internet.
Many publishers are routinely on the lookout for quality articles. You simply allow them the rights to re-use your article and in exchange they leave intact the link back to your website contained in the bio at the bottom of your article. You just gained another link without lifting a finger.
Ezine Editors:Â You will get lots of well-targeted traffic by submitting your articles to popular ezines that are related to your niche website. Ezines are always in need of new, good quality content.
Once your article is published in an ezine, you will get lots of publicity in return. Getting your articles in ezines read by hundreds or even thousands of people is an excellent way to quickly increase traffic to your website.
Your Own Article Directory:Â Many ezine publishers and webmasters do not realize that article directories even exist. Once they read one of your articles from a directory, they will visit your website, which could prominently display a link to your own article directory. The link should make clear the fact that your content is free for use in any website or ezine. “Free Content For Your Ezine” should appear in a link that is prominent on your directory website.
Keep in mind that article writing is a huge win-win process for all involved. Authors get free publicity and links back to their website, publishers get free information for their websites, and readers get free quality information for their research and buying needs.

Smart marketers are earning significant part-time incomes simply by selling ebooks or reports every week. I’m noting talking pocket change - some are making well over $1k a month in their spare time.
And the most interesting part is that most of these people are far from being considered experts in relation to the reports they are selling. In fact some have no involvement in the topics they’re targeting. So basically anyone can do it.
So, how are they doing this?
It’s simple really - and that’s why it works so well…
As I mentioned - you don’t need to be an expert or an authority on any topic or subject. So this technique will work for just about any niche market you want to target.
The strategy is to create short 5-10 page mini-reports and then sell them via Adwords campaigns or on eBay.
Here’s what you need to do…
First off - go to sites such as Amazon, Clickbank or even eBay to see which books in your chosen topic are most popular and selling well. Your aim is to create a short ebook or report about a specific topic within these niche markets.
That’s it. Anyone can do this!
Here’s an example…
Suppose there’s a book on the Amazon bestsellers list that explains what you need to look for when buying a used car. All you need to do is to write a report based on this subject.
But here’s the most important part of this simple formula…
You’re going to do it the smart way so that you can have your report created in as little as a few days, without having to know a single thing about your subject.
Here’s how…
Once you’ve decided on your topic, go to your favorite search engine and search to see if there are any private label articles or reports available on your subject, in this example we are targeting the buying a used car niche market.
If you find any products or articles you can purchase them and then use the content in any way you choose to create your own short report. With private label rights you have the right to alter the content in any way you choose, so there’s no problem with copyright
For example, you could create a report that explains the top 10 tricks and scams you need to look for when purchasing a used car to ensure you don’t get lumbered with a lemon. So you would search for tips on this subject and compile them into a short report.
Then it would only be a matter of designing some graphics and creating a simple mini-site to promote the benefits of your report and then begin sending visitors to your site by using Adwords or something similar.
Alternatively you could list your report on eBay and sell it directly from there for some quick profits. If you choose this option, just be aware that reports or ebooks on eBay sell very cheaply so you will need to price it at about $5 - $7 to be competitive.
If you’re just starting out and you’re a little short on funds, an inexpensive alternative is to search article directories for articles on your topic. Then you can modify these articles into your words and compile them into a report.
But a word of warning…
If you choose to do this, DO NOT under any circumstance copy the articles for your own purposes. This is a violation of copyright and it is unlawful. The only purpose of searching for articles is to get some idea’s that you can put into your own words.
This is just a very quick example of using the power of niche marketing to generate a part-time income, but if you’re deadly serious you could repeat this same process over and over again to begin creating a substantial online income.

February 11th, 2007
As an online marketer your customers do not know you. They cannot see your face. They cannot hear your voice when you are recommending your products, and they cannot see or feel your emotions when you are telling them about the benefits of your products.
The internet is now a world game and it offers a level playing field for anyone out there who has a computer. This connectivity means that you have the potential to reach every individual in the world. You are no longer limited by normal geographical constraints. Bascially anyone can be your virtual customer !
The only problem with this new age of connectivity is that your competitors have the very same opportunities as you do. No longer are you only competing with your neighbors, you’re also in competition with every marketer in your niche around the world.
So it is extremely important that your customers have a satisfying experience everytime they contact you or make a purchase from you. You need to offer a high level of service and satisfaction in order to keep them coming back as repeat customers. A very successful method of doing this is to overdeliver on your promises.
When every competitor of yours has access to everyone in the market, your only way of winning the battle is to overdeliver - again and again and again!
When you overdeliver you gain your customers trust and position yourself as a person with their interest at heart. In other words, you become a trusted friend and not a greed- driven marketer looking for a quick buck.
In a nutshell, overdelivering is a simple but very effective method of differentiating yourself from your competitors!
So in what ways can you overdeliver to your customers?
You can start overdelivering by providing simply things that won’t cost you a single penny, like fast and courteous support where you answer any queries or concerns in as fast and friendly manner as you possible can.
This may not sound much, but ask yourself…
How many times have you been turned away with unsatisfactory answers when asking about a certain product you purchased?
How many times have you received fantastic response to your queries before you purchased an item, yet you had to wait days or weeks to get a reply once you actually made the purchase?
Compare that with the number of times you have been provided good service, as if you’re being helped by a personal friend - even after you bought the product.
The ratio of good experience compared to poor experiences are just way out there proving how scarce good customer support really is.
By providing excellent support to your customers and providing quality responses to their queries you will gain customers that are fiercely loyal to you because they know you have their best interest at heart.
There’s no question that when you provide excellent customer support you’re already ahead of most of your competitors. But let’s take it a step further and think what other ways can you overdeliver.
Another excellent and cost effective method is to provide your customers an unadvertised bonus when they make a purchase from you. People just love to receive more than they paid for - so use this to your advantge!
For example, if someone buys a fishing reel you could throw in a bonus fishing lure. But the secret to this technique is not to mention the bonus as an incentive for your visitors to purchase your product on your sales page.
You can offer other bonuses on your sales page if you like, but you should never mention the bonus you’re going to use as the surprise element. This way when they receive your extra bonus it will be a total surprise and it will have the potential to build great trust with your customers.
Another method is to build a long-lasting relationship with your customers.
If a customer buys regularly from you, it’s a good idea to send greeting cards on their birthday or on special holidays or events. Your customer will again remember you as a friend, and not as a business associate. And due to the warm relationship you have built with them they will remember you above your competitors when they are again in the buying mood.
So, start developing your strategy to begin overdelivering to your customers today to acheive greater success!

As you may know, having your own products is an important key to your online success. It’s not the only key, but it forms an important part of the overall strategy.
If you have already gone down this path or are thinking of doing this, naturally you will need a mini-site or sales page to promote your product.
So today we’re going to talk about how generating a specific set of graphics and using them in combination on your ‘mini’ website will help you earn more money and generate a better response than just a plain old text based website.
Each portion of this creative process has been broken down into different sections so you can read what you need.
- Covering it Up -
A well known fact when selling anything to anyone is that using a picture along with a powerful description will boost your sales. So, you will need to have an “cover” image of your product. And regardless of whether it is an ebook cover, a report jacket, CD cover or software box, you need to have an original image for your product.
Hiring someone to design professional looking images is the preferred option, however if you are just starting out and money is a bit thin, here are a few free products you can use to begin generating some good looking cover images.

Now it’s time for the next group of graphics you’ll need to create to help improve the look and selling power of your ‘mini’ website. However, before you start making sensational website graphics, you need the images that will give you just the right look to showcase your product properly.
Most graphics will be comprised of images and text, but some will also contain special effects generated with the use of more expensive photo editing tools such as PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro (even though Paint Shop Pro costs just $99, it’s a bargain compared to PhotoShop at a cost of $699).
First, let me give you a couple of places to look for free images that you can download and use, most of them anyway, royalty-free:
– Stock X Change –
http://www.sxc.hu - It’s the best online. Check it out, seriously.
– Websoup.Org –
http://www.websoup.org - You can find lots of things here besides free image repositories.
– iStockphoto –
http://www.istockphoto.com - Even though you have to pay for the use of these images, it’s pretty inexpensive at just $0.50 per image.
What good will these images do you if you don’t have a tool to help you utilize them properly?
So, here is another free gift for you that will help you create integral parts of your ‘mini’ site.
**Please Note** - You will require Adobe PhotoShop to use this gift.
– Action Pak Gold Action Scripts for Photoshop –
http://www.webadvertisingsecrets.com/actionpakgold.zip
This package contains 3 action scripts that will generate a header graphic, an order button graphic, and a custom designed logo background. It’s a wonderful package to use. Only downfall, it requires PhotoShop.
So, now that you have your graphics, there’s only one thing left to do - and that is creating your ‘mini’ website. To help you out with this process, here is yet another free gift for you to use called
– Order Page Magic created by our protĂ©gĂ©, Louis Burleson
http://www.webadvertisingsecrets.com/OrderPageMagic.zip
It will help you develop a great ‘mini’ page using a model that has been proven to convert potential customers into buying customers. This software tool will take you by the hand and lead you down the path to your ‘mini’ site creation.
Once you’ve done this it’s a simple matter of adding your sales letter and then uploading to your site and it’s done. Of course you need to develop a marketing plan to promote your newly created mini-site in order to make sales, but that’s a subject for another article.
